  1. This little program is a utility for taking the text files created when
  2. you so a "Save As" while displaying a list of conferences. I save these
  3. lists all the time when I am trying to sync up my gateways, and just to
  4. be able to send someone a list of conferences.

  6. The problem with these lists is that there is a whole bunch of text to
  7. the right of the conference name that I don't care about, and doesn't
  8. belong in a conference list that I am trying to put in a message or
  9. compare with another one.

  11. This utility fixes this problem. It goes through the conference list
  12. text file and creates a list of the confereces without the stuff that
  13. you do not need. It features a split window so that you can see the
  14. input text and the output text at the same time.

  16. The output text field is editable so you can copy conference names for
  17. pasting into what ever you want.

  19. EXAMPLE OF USE:
  20. You log onto the board you gate with as the gateway. You look through
  21. the "Self Serve" folder and set up a few more conferences for yourself.
  22. You use the "Save as Text" feature and log off. You open the Conference
  23. List Fixer and create a conference list. Now you can save the new list
  24. to a text file, or use the list in the program. If you now go an create
  25. new conference on your board to match the ones you just put on the
  26. gateway desktop, you can copy and paste the names right into the "Get
  27. Info" form in FirstClass. That way, you never get a spelling mismatch on
  28. gated conferecnes.
